BEYOND: The Son of Man

The Great Commission is a call to go beyond. Beyond our own faith story, beyond the safety of our church walls, beyond the limits of our comfort zone. In this series we take a deep dive into this famous passage, exploring the “why” and the “what” of what Jesus is commanding us to do. This week, before we even start reading the Great Commission itself, we look at the rich historical context Jesus was drawing on as he takes on the mantle of “Son of Man.”
