The Great Commission is a call to go beyond. Beyond our own faith story, beyond the safety of our church walls, beyond the limits of our comfort zone. In this series we take a deep dive into this famous passage, exploring the “why” and the “what” of what Jesus is commanding us to do. This week during our whānau service, we recognise that like a lot of Bible heroes, we have a lot of fear and resistance about sharing Jesus with others. But we also discover that God has a beautiful response to those heroes, and it's the same as Jesus’ response to us—a wonderful promise that makes fear pointless!
